I have been serving in the MFC Kids Section for almost 5 years. And like most heart champs , I started as an MFC Kid member before I became a Heart Champ in 2012. Being their ate in the ministry is a great responsibility especially because every time you go in front of them, every opportunity that you teach them, all the kids look up to you, and sometimes they want to be like you and that’s the reason why I strive to be a better person. The kids teach me to appreciate the blessings I have, to live a simple life. Every time I look at their joyful eyes and genuine smiles, I find my joy. And this joy inspires me to give my all: time, talents and treasure. Serving the Lord in MFC Kids is never easy but every time I see the kids, I am reminded of the this wonderful gift of service from God that I should treasure. Serving the Lord is always a great privilege because every encounter with the kids is an encounter to Jesus.
